Auschwitz - Birkenau Tour
Auschwitz is a network of concentration and extermination camps built and operated by the Nazis during the Second World War. According to the statistics, about 1,5 million people were killed in this monument of genocide, including Jews, Romes, Hungarians, Italians, Poles and people of almost all nationalities.
After the war, in 1947, a museum was founded on the site of Auschwitz I and II - the only two camps that have remained. The museum as it's definately a "must see" place for the southern Poland, gets visited by millions of people from around the world every year. It's an experience you'll never forget, and that's good as it's important not to let such terrible things happen again.
By clicking on the picture on the right - you'll enter a gallery from the museum's sites.
With us you start the tour at your hotel , after about 80minutes of driving you'll pass through the iron gates crowned with the infamous motto, Arbeit macht frei and visit the main camp Auschwitz I. Then we'll take you to Auschwitz II - Birkenau to see the second part of the museum. You'll see all the areas and exhibitions, the gas chamber, the crematory and prisoners' barracks.
The tour usually takes about 6 hours in total, so at about 4PM, we'll drop you off at your hotel or any desired place. We understand the importance of this place, so no time-restrictions are presented.
Of course you can find these tours a bit cheaper, but the place deserves respectful visit, instead of being crammed in a coach and rushed all over.
The Prices start from 420pln (=112EUR, =95GBP) for a group up to 4 people.
