After the war, in 1947, a museum was founded on the site of Auschwitz I and II - the only two camps that have remained. The museum as it's definately a "must see" place for the southern Poland, gets visited by millions of people from around the world every year. It's an experience you'll never forget, and that's good as it's important not to let such terrible things happen again.
With us you start the tour at your hotel , after about 80minutes of driving you'll pass through the iron gates crowned with the infamous motto, Arbeit macht frei and visit the main camp Auschwitz I. Then we'll take you to Auschwitz II - Birkenau to see the second part of the museum. You'll see all the areas and exhibitions, the gas chamber, the crematory and prisoners' barracks.
The Auschwitz tour usually takes about 6 hours in total, so at about 4PM, we'll drop you off at your hotel or any desired place. We understand the importance of this place, so no time-restrictions are presented.
Of course you can find these Auschwitz tours a bit cheaper, but the place deserves respectful visit, instead of being crammed in a coach and rushed all over.
The prices start from 420pln for the car. At this price, we provide a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan exclusively for your party with an English speaking driver, picking you up from your desired address. Our driver shows you around, helps you getting your tickets (very often avoiding the long queues to the cash desks) and waits with you until he's sure you've met your guide. You'll meet him again after your visit in Auschwitz, and you'll go back to Krakow together to finish at any desired place.
Once we get to the place, there are three ways to do the visit:
+ Visiting the sites on your own: No admission for entrance, optional guidebooks for 5pln.
+ Visiting the sites on a Tour: No admission for entrance, tickets for a tour incl. both camps are 40pln/person.
+ Visiting the sites with a private guide - needs pre-booking, total cost depends on a number of people.
Admission fees not included.
